The FAA Tracking Number (FTN) is a requirement for taking the FAA Knowledge Tests. You can create a profile at http://iacra.faa.gov/iacra/default.aspx to receive your FTN. Note that this number is not required for your oral and practical exams.

No, you must bring two original 8610-2 forms to take the exam (civil or military applicants). 

If you lose your test results, contact the testing facility for a replacement, or print a new one through iacra.faa.gov if you have an FTN.

No. The General test must be taken along with either the Airframe or Powerplant exams.
